The shavings are a byproduct of machining, collected from factory production and compressed under high pressure into solid shades. The compressed texture is different in every piece and creates varying light patterns as the angle and intensity of the light change. A clear lacquer or a nano-ceramic coating protects the brass from oxidation and keeps its golden tone. Each fixture weighs about three to five kilograms and uses LED-compatible fittings with warm or neutral light.
