Feng Ya Wu Zhen Ceramic Speaker

Audio and Sound Equipment Design Feng Ya Wu Zhen Ceramic Speaker by Chao Yang Feng Ya Wu Zhen is a ceramic speaker inspired by the water town of Wuzhen in Zhejiang, China. The compact body measures 70 by 70 by 70 millimetres and refers to the ancient architecture of Tongxiang. Each speaker is hand fired at 1,300 degrees, so the colour of every piece is slightly different. Modern graphic compositions replace traditional ink painting to express local culture. The outer packaging uses matte coated paper with a velvet interior, and carries textured musical note elements and braille in embossed printing.
