The kit is made of cardboard and is assembled with a simple structure and simple fixing methods. Any flashlight of a suitable size can be used, so a failed flashlight can be replaced by another one. When folded, Tomori Aid fits within an A4 size and is easy to carry in a disaster prevention bag. When assembled, the lantern measures 260 mm in height and 170 mm on each side. The design is intended for use during evacuation and in daily life at home.
