Sustainable Products, Projects and Green Design SeeTang Collection Biomaterial Invention by Jana-Aimée Wiesenberger SeeTang Collection is a set of products made from an algae based biomaterial. The collection includes an instant dish with edible packaging and bags. The inner packaging of the instant dish is cooked together with the food, as the biomaterial dissolves in water and is safe to eat. The outer packaging can be recycled or composted. The bags are made from the same material and are dyed with natural colours such as saffron, onion skin, hibiscus and coffee. The collection offers an alternative to single-use plastic bags. The design aims to raise awareness of marine conservation.
