Venus Cradle Furniture

Furniture Design Venus Cradle Furniture by Golnoush Zamani and Hajar Shahsavari Venus is a multifunctional furniture piece designed to cradle mothers and their children through all stages from pregnancy to early childhood. The multi-purpose design is equipped with ergonomic parts to support and protect mother and children, evolving with their physical needs, including pregnancy rest, feeding phase, and a cradle for infants. The project design was inspired by the representations of femininity and motherhood in figurines of nude women, named Venus from the Neolithic era in Tappeh Sarab, Iran.
